CONOU has been an European top rank excellence in Europe in circular economy since 1984. While the linear economy rest on the ‘take-make-use-dispose-pollute’ scheme, the circular economy is based on the make-use-reuse-remake-recycle of products. It is a virtuous model that minimises waste production, achieving significant environmental benefits while promoting innovation.

The CONOU chain is an example of circular economy: it collects, manages and regenerates waste oil.
