At a time when greenwashing is growing, the Conou Sustainability Report plays a decisive role.
It is fundamental that CONOU’s activities, inspired by the principles of environmental protection, the fight against climate change and technological innovation, find confirmation and correspondence in virtuous figures.
The Sustainability Report not only describes and analyses CONOU’s economic, social and environmental performance, but it also ensures fairness and transparency through clear compliance to GRI international standards.
The Report is focused on three main areas:
1. Governance and sustainability performance
2. Environmental impact
3. Economical and social impact
The Sustainability Report presents the economic, environmental, and social performance of the Consortium’s activities and of the entire Supply Chain. The Consortium has prepared the Sustainability Report for the 2024 financial year in accordance with the GRI Standards (“In Accordance”). For the first time, the Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) analysis has undergone independent verification in compliance with ISO 14040 and ISO 14044 standards, with validation by an independent third-party certification body.
